Our History
A Vineyard Born From Passion and a Shared Vision
After successful years in the Parisian media and pastry worlds, Patrick Chêne and his wife Laurence founded the estate in 2014. The estate's wines quickly earned their place at the most prestigious tables. Within ten years, Dambrun has become one of the benchmark producers of the appellation. Captivated by the quality of the wines and the beauty of the property, Normand Lavoie arrived from his native Quebec to bring a new momentum to the estate. The creation of a new tasting cellar and the acquisition of six additional hectares mark the first steps of this new chapter, driven by two ambitions: to preserve the soul and quality of the wines while bringing a new dimension to the estate.
A Story That Continues
Founded in 2014 by Patrick and Laurence Chêne on four hectares of vineyards, Domaine Dambrun was born out of a passion for the great terroirs of the Ventoux and a strong conviction: to produce organic wines where the fruit and the terroir remain at the forefront.
In 2024, Normand Lavoie and Sophie Tremblay took over the estate. Having fallen in love with Provence and the Ventoux region, they chose to continue this story while giving it new momentum. The acquisition of new plots has now expanded the vineyard to 19 hectares, offering a greater diversity of terroirs and grape varieties.
Winemaker & Manager
Nicolas Chevrol
Born into a family of winemakers, Nicolas Chevrol is an agricultural engineer and oenologist by training. After nearly ten years at Château de Saint Cosme as technical director and oenologist, he joined Domaine Dambrun in 2025 with a firm conviction: Great wines are born first and foremost from great terroirs, which the winemaker must nurture with precision and humility.

Pauline Chambon
With over ten years of experience, Pauline draws on her expertise and intuition to foster authentic, lasting relationships. She supports the estate’s growth, both in France and internationally, with attentiveness, availability, and a commitment to excellence. Her approach is rooted in sharing, trust, personalized guidance, and an understanding of each person’s expectations, all aimed at building special relationships. As a dedicated partner, she strives to convey, through every interaction, much more than just expertise: a story, values, and experience, where people are at the heart of every collaboration.
Administrative and Financial Coordinator
Charlotte Croset
Charlotte oversees the administrative, financial, and organizational management of Domaine Dambrun. She provides invaluable support to the entire team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organization and helping to guide the estate’s development.
Our Philosophy
Our Red Wines
Domaine Dambrun produces red wines under the AOC Ventoux appellation. Our primary red grape varieties are Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Caladoc, and Counoise. Our vines have an average age of about forty years.
Our White Wine
Our white wine is produced under the IGP Vaucluse classification, allowing us to enrich the blend with our superb Chardonnay grapes. The other varieties grown at the estate include Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Marsanne, Viognier, and Ugni Blanc.
Our Rosé Wine
Our Rosé is an AOP Ventoux, with a focus on two specific varieties: Cinsault and Caladoc (a cross between Grenache Noir and Malbec). This choice allows us to offer a fine, balanced, and fruity Rosé.
